Biography
Dr. Indira Parajuli is Permanent faculty in Department of Environmental Science (CDES) , Tribhuvan University. She is interested in the field of Air quality modelling, Indoor environment and its control, health risk analysis, ventilation design and application, exposure analysis, Air pollution control technology, Climate change, etc. She holds Ph.D. Environmental Engineering from Incheon National University, South Korea. She was a Researcher in Incheon National University under the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering since 2012 to 2017. She was Assistance Professor in Sapta Gandaki Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal from 2005-2006 and she served as an Assistant Professor in Nepal Poly-technique Institute, Nepal from 2009-2012. She has received Environmental Protection Award 2017, awarded from Ministry of Forest and Environment and received from Rt. Honorable President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. Likewise, she has been awarded as Young Scientist Award 2018 from Nepal Academy of Science and Technology and received from Rt. Honorable Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
She has over 20 years professional experiences and over 40 publications including Text books, Journal articles, Research reports, conference papers, domestic publications. In addition, several National level and Domestic level Research and Development (R&D) projects have been carried out in the field of indoor air quality, pollution control technology and modelling work. Moreover, Moreover, she worked for UNDP, European Union, ILO, World Bank and Helvetas (Swiss) project with direct consultation and connection with government of Nepal.
